Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience practicing U.S. employment-based immigration law.
  • Experience across employment-based visa categories including O-1A/B, EB-1A/B, H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN, and PERM.
  • Exceptional writing ability to explain complex immigration concepts clearly, practically, and accessibly.
  • Ability to speak publicly through videos, webinars, podcasts, and community events.
  • Strong legal judgment, including the ability to distinguish general educational guidance from fact-specific legal advice.
  • Comfort using modern technology to help attorneys work more effectively and reach more people.
  • Analytical and creative ability to identify patterns across cases and translate insights into educational content.
  • A J.D. or LL.B. (or equivalent law degree).
  • Eligibility to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience advising on U.S. immigration law.
Responsibilities
  • Review and personalize responses for social media and online communities for legal accuracy and an authentic voice.
  • Participate in online community discussions, ask-me-anything sessions, webinars, and educational initiatives about employment-based immigration.
  • Identify recurring immigration questions and develop proactive educational content.
  • Write scripts and appear in educational videos, webinars, podcasts, and other public-facing content.
  • Review immigration content across the website, guides, blog, newsletters, and educational resources for legal accuracy, clarity, and practical usefulness.
  • Write and edit immigration guides, website copy, frequently asked questions, evidence lists, internal playbooks, templates, and workflows.
  • Publish attorney-backed breakdowns of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services announcements, regulatory changes, policy updates, and emerging immigration trends.
  • Build and maintain Alma's immigration knowledge base.
  • Provide legal review for new initiatives, educational materials, customer-facing resources, and marketing content.
  • Partner with Growth, Product, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to turn common client questions into scalable educational content.
