Requirements
- A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Ph.D. in a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Verilog or VHSIC Hardware Description Language for register-transfer-level development.
- Solid knowledge of embedded Linux systems and strong C programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with field-programmable gate array board-level design using Intel Quartus, including register-transfer-level design, module-level simulation, timing constraints, and static timing analysis.
- Experience designing and integrating bus protocols such as Avalon Streaming and Avalon Memory-Mapped, as well as Serial Peripheral Interface, Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter, and Ethernet interfaces.
- Experience with double-data-rate 3 or double-data-rate 4 memory controller design and high-speed serializer/deserializer interface control.
- Strong foundation in digital hardware design and ability to read and interpret circuit schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and apply analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, follow procedures and timelines, and complete assignments accurately with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and demonstrate ownership and accountability.
