Requirements
  • Ability to conduct site surveys for local and wide area networks.
  • Ability to install data cabling, including tone and tag, punchdown, and demarc extensions.
  • Ability to load a supplied configuration.
  • Ability to perform basic rack-and-stack installation of Cisco IP telephony equipment without onsite staging.
  • Ability to install local and wide area network equipment, including routers and switches.
  • Ability to provide data cable test results when required and digital pictures when requested.
  • Ability to perform smart-hands testing and turn-up of installed equipment.
  • Ability to assist with installation of preconfigured Cisco Unified Communications equipment.
  • Ability to assist with installation of preconfigured Cisco and Aruba wireless equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
