Requirements
  • Five years of experience is required.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight travel and trips of up to two weeks at a time, within Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon, and Washington.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness, and maintain vehicle service records, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify customers or the Operations Manager of findings.
  • Complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and cost data.
  • Determine parts required for repairs and the required timing, and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
