Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. MBA, MA or CPA/CFA is desired.
  • 7+ years of related experience at a professional level. Experience as a manager or lead analyst.
  • Sound knowledge of GAAP. Ability to analyze and interpret technical laws, regulations, rulings, and court decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, possesses good attention to detail, and works well in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with FAS133/Hedge Accounting is a plus.
  • Capital Markets Experience Required, Asset Liability Management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and/or mainframe applications (treasury or accounting platforms a plus).
  • Ability to perform work onsite at our HQ in Franklin, TN.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Responsibilities
  • Manages complete issuance process of asset backed securities, medium-term notes, bank loans, private placements, coordinating with various functions including accounting, finance, tax and legal.
  • Supports the investor relations program and development of new funding structures.
  • Negotiates the pricing, deal structure and requirements of funding transactions in conjunction with the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.
  • Forecasts the timing and availability of funding to best manage cash flow and interest expense.
  • Maintains corporate relationships with investment bankers regarding current, future and existing transactions.
