About the job

Requirements

  • Daily, firsthand fluency with AI prototyping and product tools such as Claude, Kiro, Figma, Cursor, Lovable, or equivalents, including personally building and shipping with these tools.
  • A demonstrated bias toward shipping product intent in days rather than weeks or months and iterating with real users and stakeholders.
  • Strong written product judgment, including quickly writing PRDs, one-pagers, and decision memos that engineers, designers, and executives can act on.
  • Experience operating in a small pod and working closely with Tech Leads and QA Leads.
  • Fluency with Agile mechanics, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and story sizing, as well as outcome ownership, continuous discovery, continuous delivery, and empowered product teams.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations.
  • Ability to engage business users and stakeholders to understand needs, map pain points, and validate solutions through rapid testing and feedback.
  • Ability to build and manage a business-outcome-driven backlog focused on performance, accuracy, value, and user experience.
  • Understanding of responsible artificial intelligence practices, including explainability, audit trails, testing, and control evidence.
  • Ability to track key performance indicators such as adoption, time saved, quality, accuracy, throughput, and operational risk exceptions.
  • Ability to participate in change management with operations and sales teams to drive enablement, communications, and feedback loops.
  • Ability to ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory expectations for data protection and usage.
  • Ability to monitor outcomes after launch, continuously improve product performance, reliability, and usability, and share learnings.
  • Strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to translate user needs into simple, high-impact product experiences.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and iterative delivery expectations.
  • Experience with experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous product discovery methods.
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Use AI tools such as Claude, Kiro, Figma, Co-Pilot, Granola, Obsidian, and equivalents to generate product specifications from customer intent and turn them into working clickable prototypes within hours.
  • Own clear outcome metrics each quarter and remain accountable for what the pod ships and what moves the metric.
  • Run product discovery, market validation, user research, and spec-to-story conversion at AI-native speed.
  • Conduct user interviews and synthesize findings into validated problem statements.
  • Move from validated problems to a written, pod-ready specification in hours or days.
  • Partner daily with the Tech Lead and QA Lead to size, build, and ship work.
  • Bring Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders into the prototype phase.
  • Help define GreenSky’s agentic product operating model, including pod norms, AI tooling standards, reusable context packs, and the playbook inherited by other pods.
  • Own a product area end to end inside a three- to four-person AI-Native Pod.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with lending, payments, buy now, pay later, or merchant-acquiring product surfaces.
  • Direct exposure to regulated environments.

About the company

GreenSky provides consumer financing by connecting a network of about 16,000 active merchants with partner banks to offer fast, online loans for home improvement, healthcare, and retail purchases. Merchants use GreenSky’s platform to present financing options at the point of sale, and customers complete online applications. Banks fund the loans, while GreenSky earns revenue from merchant transaction fees and interest income from borrowers. The platform emphasizes speed and ease of use to help shoppers make large purchases and drive merchant sales. The company differentiates itself through its large merchant network, bank-partner funding model, and a specialized fintech platform that enables merchants to offer financing quickly at the point of sale. Its goal is to expand access to large-ticket purchases by providing quick, convenient financing solutions that boost sales for merchants and provide borrowers with flexible payment options.
