About the job
- At least 3 years of product design experience at technology companies, ideally in B2B software as a service or technical tools.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work with measurable impact.
- Proficiency in modern design tools, with Figma required.
- Experience designing complex workflows or enterprise software.
- Design the end-to-end user journey for interacting with artificial intelligence agents in Excel, including prompting, iterating, and reviewing artificial intelligence outputs.
- Craft the first-time user experience from initial product understanding through activation.
- Build and maintain the design system from scratch.
- Shape the company's brand through its product, marketing site, and collateral by creating a sophisticated, trustworthy, and cutting-edge visual language.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product to ship designs while balancing user needs with technical constraints, especially within Excel's add-in environment.
- Design signup flows, pricing pages, and upgrade prompts to drive conversion.
- Background in finance or financial services, including understanding of Excel power users and financial modeling workflows.
- Experience designing artificial intelligence or machine learning products or agentic interfaces.
- Experience with design systems or component libraries.
- Front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience at early-stage startups from seed to Series A.
