About the job
- A high school diploma or GED, or one year of related industrial experience, or equivalent training.
- Ability to use and care for common hand tools.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, directions, and correspondence, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work cooperatively and interact with various departments.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods and regularly move about the facility.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding, with assistance as needed.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments without climate control.
- Personal protective equipment is required.
- Continuous participation in company safety training.
- In-person attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Must be available to work from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Distribute and rack supplies and parts to various departments.
- Perform general cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment as needed.
- Paint fixtures, floor markings, walls, and equipment.
- Perform seasonal indoor and outdoor cleaning at facilities.
- Complete facilities-related projects as assigned by Facilities and/or Engineering.
- Use ladders and similar equipment safely.
- Regularly operate the floor sweeper and clean throughout the facility.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
