- A high school degree and bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, are required.

- Background in Linux and Unix, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux or AIX, with knowledge of WebSphere is required.

- Perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture.

- Inform the technical architect and project manager of issues that may affect other areas of the project.
- Fix defects and performance problems discovered during testing.
- Document the application to facilitate maintenance.
