Requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
  • Must have 8 or more years of experience, including at least two years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, International Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Must have project management experience involving resource planning and presentation development.
  • Must have strong writing skills and the demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for senior audiences.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Must be proficient with standard office productivity tools, such as word processing and presentation software.
Responsibilities
  • Help plan and execute development contracts, including Performance Work Statement development and facilitation of technical evaluations.
  • Work directly and indirectly with more than 20 development teams across more than five companies to support external messaging to Headquarters Air Force representatives and multiple external organizations.
  • Draft and edit executive correspondence, talking points, and leadership briefings.
  • Generate monthly reports in the Program Management Review format covering financials, personnel resources, and strategic communications.
  • Support the coordination and routing of sensitive communications for review and approval.
  • Assist in applying information governance practices, including the proper handling and documentation of sensitive and executive communications.
  • Help prepare the monthly Directorate Communication Summary Report, summarizing key executive-level exchanges and themes.
  • Work with senior staff to ensure consistency of messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking modernization milestones, tasks, and activities.
  • Help collect and organize data on task progress, schedule performance, and identified issues.
  • Support workflow analysis to identify emerging bottlenecks or risks to operational continuity.
  • Contribute data, charts, and narrative inputs to the monthly Directorate Operational Status Report.
  • Coordinate with senior analysts, program managers, and technical leads to validate status information.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, such as O-6, GO/FO, or SES personnel, in Department of Defense or Intelligence Community organizations.
  • Familiarity with records management or information governance policies.
  • Experience preparing communication summaries or similar reporting products.
