About the job

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in software, systems, or integration engineering, including shipping real integrations or services using APIs, webhooks, or event-driven systems.
  • Solid programming ability in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Working SQL skills and confidence using Git and code review.
  • Experience integrating with business systems such as CRM, payments, finance, marketing, or operations platforms.
  • Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, challenge unclear requests, and translate underlying needs into buildable solutions.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly and choose simple solutions that are reliable in production.
  • Ability to anticipate failure cases such as unavailable APIs, duplicate records, or conflicting updates.
Responsibilities
  • Work with go-to-market stakeholders to turn unclear process requests into clear technical requirements and a sensible implementation approach.
  • Build integrations, customer or prospect event flows, automations, and changes to the go-to-market engine using APIs, webhooks, queues, scheduled workflows, or small services where appropriate.
  • Choose whether to build, buy, or configure solutions based on the problem, prioritizing native platform capabilities, then tooling or middleware, and custom code when it creates value.
  • Build production-ready systems by testing common failure paths, handling duplicates and retries, and adding monitoring to detect problems quickly.
  • Ship and support work using version control, code review, and safe deployment; troubleshoot or recover failures after launch.
  • Work with Salesforce, other platform owners, and the Commercial Data Analyst to integrate systems cleanly and ensure they emit data needed to measure performance.
  • Document important flows, decisions, and recovery steps so the technology stack does not depend on one person.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience at a marketplace or a company selling to small businesses at volume.
  • Hands-on experience with an iPaaS or workflow tool such as n8n, Zapier, or Workato.
  • Familiarity with tools in the stack such as Snowflake, Customer.io, Gong, Clay, or similar systems.
  • Experience with cloud runtimes, CI/CD, observability, or production support.
  • Salesforce experience is useful but not required.
