Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, quality management, information technology, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in construction and quality management delivering major infrastructure projects, including senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrable accountability for setting up management systems and managing information in design-and-build environments.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Strong leadership and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Very good communication and organisational skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels within Ferrovial.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor the management systems and maintain applicable project procedures, ensuring they support project completion on time and to cost.
  • Safeguard the joint venture by ensuring all areas of compliance are in place and adhered to through regular audits and surveillance checks.
  • Implement and manage quality assurance processes to ensure construction projects meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure relevant project information is captured, registered, and circulated using Electronic Document Management Systems integrated with Building Information Modelling 3D models.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of software systems and information technology infrastructure, and support effective project information management.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on information management systems and processes.
  • Conduct and lead auditing activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 19650, ISO 44001, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards, and maintain project joint venture certification.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of quality and information management systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems using tools such as Power BI to provide insights across various disciplines.
  • Liaise with internal joint venture and external client and supply chain quality, digital construction and data management, Building Information Modelling, and information technology representatives and cross-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in rail programmes.
  • Experience with information technology, Building Information Modelling implementation, and/or qualification as a lead auditor.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, information management software packages, and artificial intelligence integration into construction management systems.
