- Familiarity with commonly used MIG welding tools, techniques, and materials.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and strength.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios for different jobs.
- Prepare metals and work surfaces for the production process.
- Measure, cut, and drill materials to meet project specifications.
- Test the strength of welds after they are made.
- Keep welding tools clean and functional.
- Assist with maintaining inventory and shop cleanliness.
- Follow relevant safety procedures and protocols.
