  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, high-performance, manufacturable hardware solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform system architecture definition, hardware design, schematic development, printed circuit board design review, hardware debugging, design verification, and product validation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through technical problem solving, root cause analysis, reliability enhancement, and cost optimization.
  • Mentor engineers, participate in technical design reviews, and contribute to technology roadmaps and engineering excellence.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in scientific or analytical instrumentation, including Scanning Electron Microscopy, Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography, Spectroscopy, or related technologies.
  • Experience with electromagnetic compatibility/electromagnetic interference, signal integrity, power integrity, and hardware reliability engineering.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction, product enhancement, and sustaining engineering.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, failure mode and effects analysis, and reliability engineering.

About the Company

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Makes lab instruments, reagents and supplies

Thermo Fisher Scientific makes and sells the instruments, chemicals, consumables and lab services that drug companies, hospitals, universities and industrial labs use for research, testing and production. Its products cover work from gene sequencing and protein analysis to diagnostic tests and lab freezers, and its distribution arm ships supplies to labs worldwide. Drug developers also hire it to run clinical trials and to manufacture medicines under contract.
