Requirements
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration in a sales or revenue operations environment within a B2B SaaS company, including direct ownership of a production organization and an end-to-end Salesforce process from business requirement through configuration, automation, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Demonstrated experience building validation rules, Flows, Apex triggers and classes with test coverage, and Lightning Web Components, with judgment about when to use each approach.
  • Direct experience with Salesforce quoting workflows, pricing or discount approval routing, or Opportunity-to-Order handoffs, using native Salesforce, a CPQ platform, or comparable quote and contract automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce roles, profiles, permission sets, organization-wide defaults, and sharing rules in a multi-team organization.
  • Experience administering and integrating go-to-market platforms such as LeanData, Outreach, SalesLoft, Fivetran, and Tableau, or comparable platforms.
  • Ability to define business problems, establish success criteria, and drive solutions rather than execute tickets literally.
  • Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or similar to build, automate, or ship work.
  • Ability to investigate messy data, trace broken automation to its root cause, and validate fixes before release.
  • Working knowledge of lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, and customer lifecycle management processes in Salesforce.
  • Strong SQL and reporting skills, including building reports and dashboards suitable for Finance and Revenue Operations review.
  • Experience writing detailed specifications for user requirements, business processes, and software solutions.
  • Experience with Agile, sprints, and release management.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across organizational levels.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical owner of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including users, profiles, permission sets, roles, page layouts, validation rules, Flows, Apex, and automation.
  • Own lead routing in LeanData, territory management, opportunity workflows, and account hierarchy processes in Sales Cloud.
  • Own case management, queues, service-level agreements, knowledge base, and customer service workflows in Service Cloud.
  • Support quote-to-cash processes in Salesforce, including quoting workflows, pricing governance, discount approval routing, and closed-opportunity handoffs; partner with Finance and Revenue Operations on quote-to-order execution.
  • Administer and integrate the broader go-to-market stack, including Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeanData, Clari, Momentum, Gainsight, Tableau, and Fivetran, and extend data into actionable Salesforce insights.
  • Use Claude and Claude Code to automate recurring systems work; identify, implement, and measure AI-powered revenue-workflow improvements and help shape adoption of new tools.
  • Partner with the go-to-market AI Champion program to identify workflows for automation, document reusable prompts and skills, and improve AI fluency across Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Marketing.
  • Translate stakeholder business problems into well-scoped technical requirements, surface trade-offs, and recommend solutions.
  • Improve Salesforce data quality through rules and automation.
  • Identify and resolve technical debt, poorly constructed Flows, misfiring validation rules, unnecessary managed packages, and rogue fields.
  • Manage the full Salesforce release cycle by assessing platform updates, testing configurations in sandboxes, communicating changes, and deploying to production weekly.
  • Maintain system documentation, process maps, and change logs; train end users on best practices; triage tickets; resolve permission issues; and train users on new functionality.

Affinity launches Ascend AI agent platform to automate private capital workflows

Affinity has launched Affinity Ascend, an AI agent platform designed to automate workflows across the investment lifecycle for private capital firms. The platform allows firms to deploy agents within Affinity or through tools like Claude and ChatGPT, powered by Affinity's data foundation. Ascend launches with three initial agents. The Data Update Agent automatically updates CRM records, the Warm Introductions Agent maps paths to sourcing targets, and the Meeting Prep Agent provides relationship context and deal history. The platform extends Affinity's Model Context Protocol capabilities, enabling firms to deploy agents across AI environments whilst accessing relationship and deal data securely. Speedinvest reports the Meeting Prep Agent reduced preparation time from 10-15 minutes to two minutes per meeting, saving over 70 hours weekly across the firm.
