Requirements
  • Degreed in Engineering - Mechanical, Industrial preferred, BS/MS or MBA
  • Combination 1-3 years of work experience in Quality Assurance / Heavy Industrial experience
  • 1-2 years of Six Sigma and/or Lean training
Responsibilities
  • Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations
  • Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for the business
  • Analyze current and future procedural needs of business
  • Establish and Maintain CAPA System according to ISO requirements
  • Review Complaints and make sure investigations and actions are taken timely
  • Prepare Management Review Meetings and collect data as required
  • Organize and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system
  • Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors
  • Host external Quality System audits
  • Provide training on Quality issues and business processes
  • Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with the plant
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Independently determine approach and assigned tasks
  • Liaise with Process Improvement Engineers and specialists to implement an effective, documented process that defines product Quality requirements
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers
  • Communicate efficiently throughout the shop floor and with own management
  • Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies
  • Actively commit to team development
  • Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma
  • Assist with training quality awareness
