- Cultivate and care for tropical plants, flowers, and trees.
- Manage soil health, irrigation systems, and fertilization programs.
- Identify and control plant pests and diseases using environmentally friendly methods.
- Oversee nursery operations and plant propagation.
- Conduct regular landscape assessments and implement improvements.
- Train and supervise gardening staff in proper gardening techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of plant inventory, growth, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and resort sustainability initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on plant care to guests and staff when requested.
- A Certified Horticulturist credential is preferred.
- Experience working in tropical or island environments is highly desirable.
