Requirements
  • Completion of National Child Safety Training before onboarding via Gecko.
  • Availability for at least three afternoon shifts per week.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state working-with-children check.
  • Valid Australian work rights.
Responsibilities
  • Create exciting, engaging experiences for primary school-aged children.
  • Work morning shifts from 6:00am to 9:00am Monday through Friday in the Rise then Shine Program.
  • Work afternoon shifts from 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday in the Stay and Play Program.
  • Provide care for children in Before School Care and After School Care.
  • Participate in paid training and develop leadership skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Working toward or having completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in Queensland in accordance with ACECQA requirements.
  • A genuine interest in working with children.
  • Team-oriented approach with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
