Rokt leaders join Wayne Gretzky and executives from Fanatics, Lowe's, Southwest Airlines and Mastercard to discuss leadership, Commerce Media and AI at Advertising Week New York 2026. Oct 08, 2026, 14:00 ET Eight sessions across Advertising Week and The Female Quotient Lounge brought Rokt together with leaders from companies including Block, e.l.f. Beauty, American Airlines and FOX One. NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Rokt, the leading ecommerce company using machine learning and AI to make the shopping experience more relevant to each customer, participated in eight panel discussions during Advertising Week New York 2026 (AWNY), held at The Penn District this week. Rokt leaders joined executives from leading retail, financial services, travel and media companies to discuss how businesses can grow revenue, earn customer trust and adapt to changes in how people discover brands. Four of those sessions took place on AWNY's main stages, while the other four were part of The Female Quotient Lounge programming on site. "Businesses want to grow revenue from the customer relationships they've worked hard to build. That depends on making each interaction relevant to the customer," said Jon Humphrey, SVP & GM of Rokt Ads. "As AI changes how people discover brands and make decisions, relevance becomes even more important. The opportunity is to help customers find something they value and give them a reason to return." One of the week's most anticipated moments came on Wednesday, when Humphrey joined NHL Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky and Tucker Kain, Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at Fanatics, Inc., on the Great Minds Stage for a conversation about leadership. The session followed Fanatics' recent decision to select Rokt to deliver AI-powered relevance for sports fans around the world. Elsewhere in the program, Rokt leaders sat alongside executives from Lowe's, Citi, Mastercard, e.l.f. Beauty and American Airlines, among others. Many of the discussions centered on how companies outside retail can build commerce media businesses, with other sessions taking up AI's growing influence on where and how people discover brands. Rokt's sessions on Advertising Week New York Stages: * Beyond the Brand: Building Partnerships Across an Entire Ecosystem (Marketplace Stage, Monday, October 5). Laura Cosgrove, SVP of Retail Partnerships at Rokt, and Lauren Copland, Ecosystem Partnership Lead at Block, discussed the evolution of the Rokt and Afterpay partnership and what it would take to extend it across Block's wider portfolio, which includes Square, Cash App and TIDAL... Arielle Feger, Senior Analyst, Media Content at EMARKETER, moderated. * The New Revenue Line: What Customer Attention Is Actually Worth (Media Stage, Tuesday, October 6). Erica Few, Head of FinServ Partnerships at Rokt, joined Elyse Blouin, Vice President & GM of Lowe's Media Network and Dylan Lonergan, Head of Sales at Citi Commerce Media, to look at what building a commerce media business requires once it moves beyond retail. Kerry Flynn, media reporter at Axios, moderated. * Building the Decision Engine for Agentic Marketing (Innovation Stage, Wednesday, October 7). As AI takes on a larger role in media decisions, Rokt's Jon Humphrey sat down with Olivia Kory, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Haus, and Annie Leanse, Senior Director, Subscriber Acquisition & Brand Media Marketing at FOX One, to discuss why attribution alone falls short and how incrementality and experimentation can inform those choices. AdExchanger reporter James Hercher moderated. * Skating to Where the Puck Is Going: The Great One on Leadership (Great Minds Stage, Wednesday, October 7). Wayne Gretzky reflected on decades spent as a player, owner, coach and broadcaster in a conversation with Tucker Kain of Fanatics and Jon Humphrey of Rokt. Rokt executives also spoke on the following panels in Female Quotient Lounge at AWNY on Tuesday, October 6: * The Trust Advantage: Why Confidence Wins. Maggie Carney, Vice President of Customer Success at Rokt, spoke with Nili Klenoff, EVP of Mastercard Commerce Media; Christie Sclater, SVP of Global Marketing at Clinique; and Cass Zawadowski, Executive Creative Director of Global Brand at Lyft, about how companies earn credibility as AI changes the way people judge brands. ADWEEK's Chief Brand and Community Officer Jenny Rooney moderated. * The Discovery Economy: Winning Before the Search. Allison Repetto, Vice President of Customer Success, Retail at Rokt, joined Sabrina Callahan, SVP, Chief Digital & Marketing Officer of Southwest Airlines and Diana Tomasetti, Senior Director, Brand & Product Marketing of Carnival Cruise Line, to unpack how consumers now find brands through AI assistants, creators and communities long before they search. Debra Aho Williamson, Founder and Chief Analyst at Sonata Insights, moderated. * Cultural Gravity: Why Some Ideas Pull People In. Laura Cosgrove returned for a second session alongside Laurie Lam, Chief Brand Officer at e.l.f. Beauty, and Haley Paas, SVP of Media, Marketing Effectiveness & Agency Management at Verizon, examining why certain brands and ideas hold an audience long after launch. Asda and Rokt partner to bring ai-powered, relevant offers to customers at checkout. Oct 08, 2026, 11:59 ET UK grocer expands partnership with Rokt, more than doubling checkout revenue for its clothing and home brand George LONDON, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Asda, one of the UK's largest grocers, and Rokt, the leading ecommerce company using machine learning to make the shopping experience more relevant to each customer, today announced a partnership to deliver relevant offers to Asda's customers at checkout across its online grocery business and George, its clothing and home brand. Using Rokt Pay+ on the payment page and Rokt Thanks on the order confirmation page, Asda has created a new retail media revenue stream at the point of purchase, while customer conversion remains unchanged. Rokt uses AI to determine the most relevant next action for each customer in real time on both the payments and confirmation pages, giving Asda a way to generate incremental revenue without adding friction to the purchase. "Checkout is a critical part of the customer journey, so we were deliberate about how we approached it," said Chris Chalmers, Vice President Customer Data and Loyalty at Asda. "The results show we can make that experience more relevant for customers while creating meaningful new value for the business." Asda first launched Rokt Thanks on George's order confirmation page in January 2025. The company added Rokt Pay+ to the payment page and then expanded both products across its online grocery business. The results include: * Rokt revenue on George more than doubled after Rokt Pay+ was added. Pay+ now makes up 51% of Rokt revenue on George, and 36% across Grocery and George. * Rokt revenue on Asda's grocery business grew 72% year on year, based on a 30-day comparison. * Customer conversion (uCCr) were unaffected across both businesses. "The payment page is one of the highest-intent moments in ecommerce, but historically it's been largely untapped," said Courtney Hopkins, SVP of Strategic Partnerships at Rokt. "Asda is showing that retailers can improve the experience for customers, thereby creating meaningful incremental value in that moment. We look forward to continuing to innovate and grow the partnership to unlock even greater relevance throughout the e-commerce journey and potentially even customer acquisition." Rokt's trusted, scaled network is expected to power more than 13 billion transactions in 2026 across thousands of leading ecommerce businesses. In 2025, Rokt generated more than $800 million in revenue. The announcement follows recent Rokt partnership announcements with PayPal, Fanatics, Ulta Beauty, Cineplex, Albertsons and Macy's, as well as its acquisitions of Canal, mParticle and Aftersell. About Asda Asda is a diversified retail group serving circa 16m customers each week from over 1,200 UK locations and online. With roots dating back to a Yorkshire family business in the 1920's, the first Asda officially opened on 3rd May 1965. Today, Asda today employs more than 140k colleagues across its stores, depots, home offices in Leeds and Lutterworth and wholly owned subsidiaries including IPL, Forza, and Kober. Asda's primary operations include the sale of groceries, general merchandise, fuel, as well as clothing and homeware through George at Asda. It also offers a host of other services including Asda Mobile, Asda Money, pharmacy, and optical services. As well as 610 superstores, supermarkets and Asda Living Stores across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, Asda has a significant footprint in the fast-growing convenience and food service markets. Retention by design: how Rokt built a company culture worth returning to. Rokt, the New York-based e-commerce technology company, has spent more than a decade working on a problem that quietly defeats most firms as they grow: holding on to the culture that made the company worth joining in the first place. Its approach rests on three qualities employees name again and again: ownership, global collaboration, and growth the company can actually measure. The payoff shows in a workforce that tends to stay, and a striking number who leave and later choose to rejoin. One recent example is Aki Noguchi, Marketing Manager for Rokt Japan. After stepping away to serve as PR and Media Manager for the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Noguchi chose to rejoin Rokt in their Tokyo office. In a company spotlight, he explained that the decision came down to culture: a fast-paced setting that trusts people to own the outcome and connects them with talented colleagues across the world. Rokt, he noted, genuinely welcomes back "boomerangs," and that openness made returning feel natural. His experience tracks closely with what independent reviewers and ranking bodies have documented about the company over the past two years. Ownership comes first. Ownership is one of Rokt's core values, and employees describe it as something they practice daily rather than a line on a values page. Rather than waiting for direction, staff, known internally as Rokt'stars, are trusted to make decisions, move quickly, and focus on impact. Noguchi put it plainly: Rokt encourages people to be empowered to own the outcome. That builder mindset is reinforced by structure. As the technology outlet Tech Journal reported in July 2026, Rokt runs a flat organization with wide spans of control, a design meant to keep leaders accessible and internal moves frequent. Dan Wright, now a vice president of operations and solutions, has been part of fourteen different teams inside the company, and what stood out to him was how steady the culture held through that much change. Built with talented people around the world. For Noguchi, one of the biggest draws is collaborating across regions. He regularly works with colleagues in London, Sydney, and New York, an arrangement he calls exciting and one that helps teams combine perspectives to solve customer problems together. That global range rests on a deliberate commitment to inclusion. In a July 2025 engagement survey cited by Rokt, 88% of employees said the company provides equal opportunity regardless of age, race, gender, or sexual orientation, a six-point increase from 82% the year before. Reporting from the business outlet Bit Rebels noted that Rokt funds Employee Resource Groups and affinity communities with company resources and executive sponsorship, treating them as part of its development infrastructure rather than optional social activities. Growth the company can measure. Where many employers speak about development in the abstract, Rokt attaches numbers to it. Built In data shows the company maintains an internal promotion rate above 10% a year, well above industry norms, alongside a transparent compensation ladder that makes salary data visible across every role. Every employee in the same role receives identical pay regardless of gender, race, or negotiating ability, a practice Bit Rebels highlighted as a way to remove friction that quietly erodes trust. The development infrastructure runs deeper than pay. Rokt'stars receive continuous peer feedback rather than a single annual review, six free sessions a year with a licensed professional for wellbeing, and access to an internal AI Academy that treats AI fluency as a baseline skill across the workforce. The Great Place to Work certification data behind those programs is striking: 92% of employees say Rokt is a great place to work, compared with 57% at a typical U.S. company, and 98% say colleagues care about one another. Culture treated as a system. Rokt's leadership frames all of this as engineering rather than sentiment. At the company's 2026 Global Kickoff, CEO Bruce Buchanan opened with a concept borrowed from physics. As Global Brands Magazine reported, Buchanan described entropy, the natural drift of any system toward disorder, as the central challenge facing any organization that scales. Priorities blur, decision ownership diffuses, and processes pile up past their usefulness. His answer is to design culture with intended outcomes rather than treat it as a mood. The scale of that challenge is real. Rokt has grown roughly 330% over three years and added around 290 team members in 2025 alone, sustaining a compound annual growth rate above 40% for more than a decade. Its AI and e-commerce network is on track to power more than 10 billion transactions in 2026 for companies such as Live Nation, Macy's, PayPal, and Uber, according to the company's Rokt by the Numbers update. What the awards actually measure. The recognition Rokt has collected is notable less for its volume than for its source: most of it is drawn from anonymous employee surveys rather than company nominations. That distinction matters, because awards filtered through employee data reflect how people are managed day to day. Buchanan has tied that performance back to people directly. Reflecting on Rokt's place on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, he said the recognition underscored the power of the company's team and the culture it has built. Independent review sites echo the picture from the outside, wherein Rokt holds a rating near 3.9 out of 5, with a majority of reviewers saying they would recommend it to a friend. The company also shares day-to-day glimpses of life inside its offices on its LinkedIn page. Who thrives here. By the accounts of employees and reviewers alike, the people who do best at Rokt bring strong ideas, enjoy learning across functions, and want teammates who take their craft seriously. Values such as Smart with Humility and Better Together function as real criteria in hiring and promotion rather than slogans. It is a fast and demanding place, and the company is candid about that. For someone like Aki Noguchi, it was also a place worth returning to. Rokt continues to recruit for that profile, pointing prospective builders toward its open roles and the question at the center of its culture: what it means to be a Rokt'star.
