About the job
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Fluency in spoken and written French is required.
- Good level of English.
- Knowledge of the hotel and restaurant industry.
- Good presentation and telephone skills.
- Ability to adapt and build good working relationships.
- Draft and propose events in French and English for companies using the hotel's salons and beach facilities.
- Track event files and handle invoicing, including requests for deposits and pro forma invoices.
- Assist the Special Events Director with internal and client meetings, banqueting and advertising proposals, and administrative and operational follow-up of large-scale events involving technical and catering operations.
- Draft and update the hotel's banqueting offering.
- Prepare forecast revenue for the hotel's banquet activities.
- Carry out other occasional assignments.
