A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
At least three years of supervisory and quality experience is required.
Demonstrable knowledge of optical inspection machines, calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, and height gauges is required.
Knowledge of regulatory and quality system requirements and standards is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are required.
Computer literacy and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.

Responsibilities
Provide inspection services to support manufacturing and engineering requests and ensure adequate, accurate inspection of incoming components and special requests.
Coordinate timely disposition of rejected raw materials.
Supervise quality technicians and parts inspectors.
Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
Work with purchasing staff to establish supplier quality requirements and ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation, considering environmental, health, and safety standards.
Define quality procedures with operating staff.
Develop and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
Liaise with customer auditors and ensure corrective actions are executed and customer specifications are met.
Establish customer or client service standards.
Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
Organize and manage the quality assurance function in close cooperation with customers and the Company's management team.
Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training.
Collate and analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters.
Ensure tests and procedures are understood, performed, and evaluated properly, and investigate product modifications when necessary.
Manage audits and work with teams to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and A2LA requirements.
Work with technical staff to carry out tests and checks.
Write technical and management systems reports.
Work with management to bring together staff from different disciplines and guide the group in planning, formulating, and agreeing on comprehensive quality procedures.
Work with management to maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
Assess company and supplier product specifications and compare them with customer requirements.
Perform internal audits.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
