Meet the team:

Our Software Engineering Internship gives you an opportunity to work on complex computer science solutions, to develop scalable, distributed software systems, and also collaborate on multitudes of smaller projects that have universal appeal. All of these require research, awareness, interactivity, and the ability to ask the right questions.

This internship will be 12 weeks in length.

What you’ll do: 

• A high risk/high reward software development task for the project
• Areas you might work on:
• High level libraries to be used by the autonomy teams like complex data structures
• Optimized vectorized libraries (AVX2/AVX512)
• Port and optimization of algorithms on GPUs
• Inference engines
• Kernel development and drivers
• Linux source based-distributions 
• Code health tooling
• Safety critical software
• Software infrastructure improvements

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.  Must be enrolled in a full time degree program at the time of the internship and for the semester following the internship (Fall 2024)
• Excellent C++ programming and software design skills
• Passion for solving challenging, impactful problems
• Excellent communication skills are required given our distributed and diverse team
