Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with CDK Global is a plus)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile daily cash deposits, credit card transactions, and bank statements.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management.
  • Ensure accurate posting of transactions in the general ledger.
  • Conduct reconciliation of various accounts (bank, inventory, etc.).
  • Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Work closely with the dealership’s finance team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
