About the job

Requirements
  • Proven expertise delivering UX-focused product strategy for large-enterprise AI solutions, with a track record of driving adoption and measurable value.
  • Mastery of product discovery and delivery frameworks, including hypothesis-driven research, product requirements document authoring, and iterative validation.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise workflow analysis, governance models, compliance constraints, and integration patterns.
  • Expertise in AI research fundamentals and the ability to translate model capabilities into user-centric features.
  • Capability in designing and evaluating user experiences that reduce cognitive load, clarify intent, and build trust.
  • Skill at synthesizing market, regulatory, and customer insights into concise product briefs and strategic direction.
  • Judgment in balancing technical feasibility, security, and scalability with user value.
  • Clear, persuasive communication with senior stakeholders, engineering, and customers, in writing and presentations.
  • A track record of owning both a product and its experience in enterprise software used for complex, high-stakes work.
  • Judgment to separate essential complexity from accidental complexity, including showing where work was removed and where it was deliberately kept.
  • Experience designing oversight of AI or automated decisions, including how model uncertainty and failure reach the user.
  • Skill at eliciting knowledge from domain experts; experience in a regulated industry, with banking preferred.
  • Hands-on prototyping, including fluency with AI design and prototyping tools, and AI-native velocity as a default mode of working.
  • Clear writing of specifications, decision briefs, and principles that others can apply without the candidate present.
  • Ability to influence without authority across product managers, engineering, and global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Define the UX vision that maximizes adoption and quantifiable value across the product suite.
  • Architect integrated experience roadmaps that reconcile enterprise governance, legacy workflows, and AI capabilities into seamless user journeys.
  • Influence senior leadership, customers, and engineering partners to align feature priorities with reduced cognitive load and heightened trust.
  • Represent the company in customer workshops and industry panels, extracting tacit knowledge that refines the product experience.
  • Define measurable adoption and impact metrics, linking user behavior to business outcomes and informing iterative improvement.
  • Translate market, regulatory, and workflow insights into clear product briefs and decision criteria.
  • Influence the adoption of AI-enhanced design and research tools within product teams, accelerating evidence-based iteration.
  • Set strategy, roadmap, and requirements for the product area; write specifications for engineering and make scope decisions, including what to cut.
  • Run discovery with people who do the work, including experts in banking operations, risk, and compliance, often in Japan and in situations where direct observation is not possible.
  • Define success measures that tie user behavior to outcomes and quality, such as effort per confirmed process, rework, and review quality.
  • Set experience principles and interaction patterns across products, covering confidence and uncertainty, requests for human input, and review and approval; hold the bar in design reviews.
  • Own journeys that cross products so that user-confirmed information carries cleanly into subsequent products.
  • Design meaningful human review acceptable to auditors and regulators, and define how its effectiveness is measured.
  • Design for mixed audiences in the same flow, including occasional expert users and daily analyst users.
  • Prototype with AI tools to test ideas with users quickly and raise the team's prototyping practice.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Japanese enterprise clients is a plus.
  • Banking experience is preferred.

About the company

kAIgentic is a platform of agentic AI for banking and financial services that orchestrates autonomous AI agents—such as Customer Experience, Compliance, Knowledge, and Operations—to handle tasks within strict regulatory rules. It integrates with a bank’s core systems to access account data and transactions, enabling contextual, proactive guidance across digital and voice channels; it supports open-source models or Kasisto’s KaiGPT, hosted on-premise or in a private cloud. A key differentiator is its compliance-first design with governance, audit logging, and security to prevent AI hallucinations by grounding outputs in real-time APIs and bank-tuned models. The service targets banks and credit unions, offering customizable agents for specific workflows with deployment flexibility, backed by a Kasisto-SMFG joint venture headquartered in Singapore.

Ex-Microsoft APAC president launches kAIgentic with $10M from SMBC Group to build AI for global enterprises

Former Microsoft APAC president Ahmed Mazhari has launched kAIgentic, an agentic AI startup for enterprise operations, with $10 million funding from SMBC Group, a Japanese multinational financial giant. Headquartered in Singapore with engineering operations in India, the company is building AI deployment infrastructure for large-scale enterprises. kAIgentic will begin operations with SMBC Group as its first customer, testing AI systems within real banking workflows before expanding to other sectors. The platform builds domain-specific AI agents that run under continuous human supervision in live production environments. The launch targets India's enterprise AI market, projected to reach $71 billion by 2030 within a broader $126 billion AI market. kAIgentic's governance structure includes a three-member board balancing startup agility with banking oversight, with plans to expand into healthcare, retail and telecommunications.
