Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in channel, field, regional, partner, demand generation, or B2B technology marketing.
  • Experience in networking, SaaS, infrastructure, value-added reseller, managed service provider, systems integrator, reseller, or distribution ecosystems is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build and execute strategic partner marketing plans connecting partner priorities, sales goals, marketing tactics, market development funds investment, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial judgment and confidence challenging, shaping, or redirecting partner activity when expected business outcomes, partner readiness, or follow-up plans are unclear.
  • Experience managing market development funds, co-marketing investments, joint campaigns, partner events, account-based marketing, seller activation, partner enablement, advocacy, or account-based growth programs.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders constructively, including Channel Sales leaders, Partner Account Managers, partner marketing contacts, partner sales leaders, and internal marketing stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop practical, differentiated, partner-relevant ideas grounded in target audiences, outcomes, and measures.
  • Ability to connect marketing activity to sourced or influenced pipeline, funnel creation, conversion, bookings indicators, return on investment, account engagement, seller participation, and partner relationship health.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to turn complex partner dynamics into clear internal recommendations, partner-facing plans, executive-ready updates, and concise reporting.
  • Project management discipline, attention to detail, and follow-through while operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment with multiple partners, stakeholders, and investment decisions.
  • Growth mindset, resilience, and curiosity, with ability to bring structure, data, creativity, and pragmatic judgment to partner relationships of varying maturity, scale, and marketing capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of annual and six-month partner marketing plans for assigned strategic partners, aligning them to joint business priorities, partner capabilities, Channel Sales objectives, Platform ONE adoption, net-new logo growth, vertical focus areas, seller activation, and measurable pipeline or revenue outcomes.
  • Manage market development funds strategy, allocation, tracking, and reporting for assigned strategic partners; shift investment toward partners, campaigns, events, enablement motions, and account plays based on readiness, expected impact, follow-up discipline, and return-on-investment indicators.
  • Own regular engagement with assigned partner marketing contacts, Partner Account Managers, and relevant sales leaders; influence partner plans, introduce Extreme-led ideas, secure partner buy-in, and ensure partners actively support and execute funded activity.
  • Design and execute strategic partner campaigns, including account-based marketing, digital, social, seller-led, event-based, and vertical motions, using partner access to target accounts, sellers, solution areas, or customer segments; define audiences, follow-up plans, performance visibility, and contact- or account-level reporting where possible.
  • Work with Product Marketing Management, Sales Enablement, Channel Sales, Partner Experience, and partner stakeholders to create seller activation, technical enablement, and partner education initiatives that improve mindshare, partner productivity, and confidence positioning Extreme solutions.
  • Create and support partner-facing, customer-facing, and internal materials, including partner web presence, advocacy pages, joint value propositions, case studies, playbooks, campaign content, webinars, presentations, executive briefings, and partner success stories.
  • Monitor partner performance, market development funds spend, funnel creation, influenced or sourced pipeline, new-logo activity, bookings indicators, campaign engagement, seller participation, lead follow-up, and conversion signals; recommend where investment should increase, pause, shift, or be redesigned using reporting tools and partner insight.
  • Represent assigned strategic partners in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and executive review forums; communicate partner opportunity, investment rationale, risks, dependencies, results, and next actions to support leadership decisions.
  • Connect strategic partner plans to distributor investments, regional POD priorities, field marketing activity, sales plays, Business Development Representative support, Partner First messaging, and broader Americas demand generation priorities; share adaptable approaches without diluting strategic partners' bespoke requirements.
  • Help define strategic-account partner marketing standards, including marketing readiness criteria, expected partner contribution, lead-list and contact-capture standards, campaign follow-up expectations, market development funds proof-of-performance quality, reporting cadence, and partner planning discipline.
  • Support high-impact reseller activities beyond the assigned account list when strategically relevant to Americas Channel priorities, executive stakeholder needs, or partner ecosystem growth, while maintaining focus on the core strategic partner portfolio.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Sigma, partner relationship management or market development funds platforms, partner portals, Microsoft 365, and artificial intelligence-assisted productivity tools.
  • Experience in networking, SaaS, infrastructure, value-added reseller, managed service provider, systems integrator, reseller, or distribution ecosystems.
