- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
- Strong software engineering background.
- Object-oriented programming skills with modern development languages.
- Experience with Agile software development practices and tools such as Scrum and Jira.
- Knowledge of modern cloud-computing software and tools, including distributed computing platforms such as Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service.
- Experience with microservices and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern data architectures and tools, including Python, MATLAB, IDL, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and C++.
- Experience with frameworks including Angular, Spring Boot, Vue, Qt, and React.
- Database modeling experience with OpenSearch Dashboards.
- Experience with algorithm development, database design, and user interface/user experience.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Experience with test-driven development methodologies and JUnit.
- Experience with web and service-oriented architecture technologies, visualization technologies, image processing, and database and/or geospatial technologies.
- Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, including Agile development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including the design, development, deployment, and implementation of software products throughout all phases of the life cycle.
- Work as part of a development team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Develop software in a variety of software development languages and environments.
