About the job

Requirements
  • A degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current good standing membership in the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec is required.
  • Previous physiotherapy experience is required, preferably in community or regional settings.
  • At least three months of experience in a hospital setting is required.
  • Must be able to assess neurology and orthopedics cases.
  • Knowledge of best practices in physical rehabilitation is required.
  • Must be able to personalize treatments to individual patient needs.
  • Competence in pain management techniques is required.
  • Must be able to motivate and educate patients to support their independence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in varied, dynamic settings are required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Apply manual physiotherapy techniques and specialized exercises.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
  • Educate patients about pain management and home exercises.
  • Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans based on patients' responses.
  • Maintain rigorous, compliant documentation.
  • Participate in training and team meetings for professional development.
