Requirements
  • The candidate must have professional working knowledge of maintenance repair and service and a valid driver’s license.
  • The candidate must have proven experience in HVAC and maintenance repairs, preferably in lease-ups, multifamily housing, Active Adult communities, or hospitality.
  • The candidate must have strong plumbing and electrical skills.
  • The candidate must have strong attention to detail.
  • The candidate must have experience using YARDI or other property management software.
  • The candidate must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work a regular Monday through Friday schedule plus nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • The candidate must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities and independently push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • The candidate must have general knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the integrity of all physical structures, meet safety standards, and ensure a well-maintained living environment for community members, visitors, and team members.
  • Inspect the community daily to ensure it meets the company’s show-quality standards.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Use YARDI to track work orders and make-ready progress.
  • Maintain fire sprinklers, backflow systems, panels, and alarm compliance, including inspections and updated permits.
  • Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment, and obtain, care for, maintain, and inventory property and management-company supplies and equipment.
  • Report mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, injuries or accidents, and other safety issues immediately in accordance with company, property, and departmental policies.
  • Build strong personal relationships with community members.
  • Promote community-member satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide hospitable, high-quality service to create a memorable experience for community members.
Desired Qualifications
  • HVAC or pool certifications and related experience are preferred.
  • Experience in lease-ups, multifamily housing, Active Adult communities, or hospitality is preferred.
