CDL Driver - Delivery Driver
About the job
- A CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement or a CDL Class A driver's license is required.
- One year of CDL Class B delivery driving experience or two years of CDL Class A driving experience is required.
- A current Department of Transportation medical card is required.
- Applicants must have a clean driving record.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Applicants must be able to continually lift 50–100 pounds throughout the day, with some lifting over 100 pounds required.
- Applicants must pass a background check and pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen.
- Heavy lifting experience is required.
- Safely deliver products to job sites.
- Physically unload materials according to customer requests, including unloading shingles at one- and two-story homes.
- Load trucks with materials scheduled for the day's deliveries while complying with Department of Transportation regulations for securing materials and distributing weight limits.
- Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.
- Box truck operating experience is strongly preferred.
- Flatbed and Moffett experience is desired.
