About the job
- At least 1 year of experience working in a quality restaurant.
- Leaving Certificate-level education or above.
- An NVQ qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to demonstrate a passion for food, beverages, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out all required duties.
- Participate in setting up the bar.
- Take orders and prepare drinks.
- Prepare hot drinks.
- Participate in delivering all food and beverage services.
- Participate in setting up the bar and events.
- Nurture and develop new commis bartenders.
- Adhere to company policies, departmental procedures, and training requirements.
- Liaise with relevant people across the business to ensure beverage provision and service are consistent with the menu and standards set by managers.
- Handle guest requests courteously and effectively, referring them to the line manager when necessary.
- Manage ordering and stock.
