About the job
- At least six months of relevant experience is required.
- Flexible availability is required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may range from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Candidates must be in good standing and not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline.
- If invited for an interview, internal candidates must have manager approval based on performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to Produce Department and company safety guidelines.
- Assign duties to the team as needed.
- Train new teammates.
- Pull and rotate product and straighten displays.
- Ensure department standards are met.
- Write orders for the day and set up a timeline for the production schedule.
- Provide friendly and courteous service in person and on the phone.
- Receive and stock orders.
- Understand and practice proper sanitation procedures.
- Follow inventory control procedures to ensure quality production, accuracy, and product rotation.
- Perform all duties and job functions of an experienced Clerk.
- Assume the responsibility of the Department Manager in their absence.
- At least six months of employment with Schnucks is preferred for store or facility teammates.
- At least one year of employment with Schnucks is preferred for Store Support Center teammates.
