Veralto to acquire water treatment firm Cleanwater1 for $465M

Veralto has agreed to acquire Cleanwater1, a provider of water disinfection and treatment technologies, for $465 million. After tax benefits, the net purchase price is approximately $452 million. Cleanwater1 operates an installed base of roughly 25,000 units across municipal and industrial water applications. The company generated $135 million in sales over the past twelve months, with 25% from aftermarket sales. Since 2023, Cleanwater1's sales have grown at a low double-digit compound annual rate. The acquisition strengthens Veralto's position in water treatment, particularly in chlorine disinfection applications.
