Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in at least one specialty.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and PACS/RIS systems.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of examinations, including general, obstetric and gynecologic, vascular, and small-parts exams.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to sonographic imaging.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning.
  • Ability to lift and move patients or equipment as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Prepare and position patients.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment.
  • Document findings.
  • Assist with interventional procedures as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.
  • Maintain current certification.
  • Uphold professional standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience.
  • Additional ARDMS certifications.
  • New graduates with strong clinical rotations are considered.
