AMAX designs and builds high-performance GPU-accelerated servers for enterprises. Its products combine NVIDIA GPUs with optimized server hardware and software to accelerate AI, machine learning, and other compute-intensive workloads, delivered as customized configurations and integrated solutions. The company started as a maker of custom PCs, pivoted to servers when Dell disrupted the market, and then focused on GPU-enabled computing after recognizing NVIDIA’s shift from gaming to datacenters. AMAX differentiates itself through early partnerships with NVIDIA, tailored engineering for large customers, and a track record of delivering bespoke server solutions, which attracted strategic investment from Foxconn and helped it grow from a private Silicon Valley shop into a public company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2023. Its overall goal is to enable scalable AI and high-performance computing for enterprise clients, serving as a trusted provider of purpose-built AI server infrastructure.
