Cloud and network security startup Hilt has emerged from stealth with $4.2 million in seed funding led by Array Ventures. The round, which included participation from Verdict Capital, Base10 Partners, and others, brings total funding to $4.7 million. The company's platform monitors data flows at the kernel level across cloud infrastructure and networks, using graph neural networks to detect anomalous behaviour in real time. Hilt operates below the application layer to identify suspicious activity even when users have valid permissions. The startup has doubled its customer count and secured a six-figure upfront payment from a hedge fund. It is targeting high-frequency trading firms, neobanks, and healthcare companies handling sensitive data. The funding will support hiring and market expansion as the 11-person company relocates from San Francisco to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Congrats to Charlie Kingston and Rory Smith on closing $3M+ in pre-seed funding for Semaloop. This looks real exciting. What they do: #AI agents that test your mobile app like a real user would. Describe the flow in plain English, the agent runs it - taps, swipes, watches the screen - and flags what's broken. No test scripts to maintain, no accessibility IDs to wire up. Granola, Clove & Ash by Slingshot AI already run it daily in production. Investors: Concept Ventures led, with Evantic Capital, Weekend Fund and FJ Labs. Angels include operators from OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Hugging Face, Linear, Lovable and Dropbox. Mobile testing has needed this for a while. Good luck to the team. #StartUp #PreSeed #FounderSpotlight
London-based CodeWords has raised $9 million in a seed round led by Visionaries, with participation from Firstminute Capital, Sequel and Illusian. Angel investors include Miro CEO Andrey Khusid, ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski and Supercell's Ilkka Paananen. The startup has built an AI platform enabling non-technical users to automate complex business workflows through simple chat prompts. Its platform, Cody, currently runs 500,000 workflows monthly for teams, agencies and operators across finance, content and marketing. CodeWords aims to bridge the gap between simple prototype tools and technical automation platforms requiring coding knowledge. The company offers 85 integrations including Asana and Dropbox, and is launching contextual memory features that proactively suggest automations. The 14-person team will use the funding to open a San Francisco office and expand engineering and commercial teams.
Anvara, a sports event and performance sponsorship platform, has raised $3.1 million in seed funding. The platform allows event organisers and teams to publish information whilst brands and agencies can directly purchase sponsorship rights. The round was led by Game Changer Ventures, founded by angel investor Roger Ehrenberg, with participation from Marquee Ventures, former Craft Ventures partner Bryan Rosenblatt, and Tapptek founder Jamie Robinson. A consortium of athletes also invested in the round. The platform connects rights holders with sponsors, streamlining the process of buying and selling event sponsorship opportunities across sports and live entertainment venues.
London-based Track Titan has raised $5 million in seed funding for its AI-powered motorsport coaching platform. The round was co-led by Partech and Game Changers Ventures, with participation from NHL star Colton Parayko, footballer Trevoh Chalobah and others. Founded in 2021 by Max Teichert, a Gran Turismo Academy graduate, Track Titan analyses in-game data from racing titles like EA's F1 series and iRacing to provide real-time feedback on braking, cornering and racing lines. Users average over 0.5 seconds improvement per session. The platform targets 190 million monthly racing game players and 90 million track-day hobbyists who lack access to professional coaching. Track Titan's AI automatically records telemetry, compares user laps to professionals and delivers personalised tips, integrating with hardware from MOZA and Fanatec.
