What believers are saying

  • MOL bought 25% in June 2024, adding capital and global network access.
  • MOL says 2026 joint projects include Zambia’s TAZARA siding and a Tanzanian pharma warehouse.
  • Alistair’s site still markets real-time cargo visibility and cloud warehouse management in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Alistair depends on copper and graphite corridors linking DRC, Zambia, and Tanzania.
  • A TAZARA, port, or customs disruption stops revenue immediately.
  • Any MOL retrenchment would strand Alistair’s fleet-heavy model and crush expansion funding.

What makes Alistair Group unique

  • Alistair runs asset-based mine-to-port logistics across eight Southern and East African countries.
  • It combines trucking, customs clearance, warehousing, and freight under one operator.
  • MOL calls it the region’s only critical-mineral supply-chain specialist.
