  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • 5+ years professional experience preferred
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Hands-on work in a research and development environment
  • Experience in piping and plumbing and water treatment technologies
  • Experience with electro-membrane separation technologies and electrochemical technologies for water treatment
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) generation and engineering change process
  • Project management experience
  • 2D and 3D CAD design
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Safety-first mindset
Responsibilities
  • Part design
  • Material selection
  • Design analysis
  • Product design and development
  • Testing and validation/qualification
  • Lead product troubleshooting and failure analysis
  • Steer projects and work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Write SOPs, test plans, and reports
  • Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Lead and guide engineers/technicians
  • Generate BOM and engineering change documentation
  • Project management
  • 2D and 3D CAD design
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Follow safety rules and wear required safety equipment
