Assists for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining the data pipelines to support organizational data driven solutions and reporting.
Monitors daily production application performance including providing break-fix operation support and reporting issues and resolutions to leaders and management.
Participates in the building and implementation of data pipeline capabilities, including data modeling, process design and architecture, dashboard/report development and all phases of the ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes.
Assists in efforts related to automating repeatable data preparation and integration tasks.
Collaborate with data analytics team to understand data capture, testing needs, and to build and test end-to-end solutions.
Develops technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner with the ability to explain and interpret moderately difficult or sensitive information.
Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of low to moderate complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information with some guidance from more experienced data engineers.
Prepares documentation and communicates data processes and production issues including observations, diagnoses, and action steps.
Generates regular reports summarizing production performance, release notes, and troubleshooting steps.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participates in the analysis of information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of low to moderate complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information with some guidance from more experienced data engineers.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in systems engineering or administration or equivalent education and related training or experience.
Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT architecture and concepts, data integration concepts and big data concepts
Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT architecture and concepts, data integration concepts, and dashboard/report tools
Previous experience in supporting and developing IT projects.
Knowledge of data technologies (ETL, Data warehouse, Databases, SAS and other Analytics tools)
Analytical and critical thinking capabilities and ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Master’s degree or prior experience developing data solutions.
Banking, Financial Services, and/or Cyber Security experience.
