- A successfully completed degree in natural sciences, computer science, or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Interest in modern data and cloud technologies, particularly Azure Machine Learning, public cloud, Data Factory or Synapse pipelines, and data ingestion using ETL or ELT.
- Experience creating and debugging Docker images and working with Terraform and Python.
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructures and services, including VNets, service and private endpoints, identity management, role-based access control or access-control lists, and Azure Storage, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, is advantageous.
- Experience connecting cloud environments to enterprise networks from a networking perspective.
- Practical experience using coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, with an understanding of modern AI-assisted coding and Vibe Engineering.
- Fluent German language skills at minimum B2-C1 level are required.
- Develop and operate the company’s artificial-intelligence platform using engineering methods, cloud architectures, and current data and analytics technologies.
- Develop the artificial-intelligence solution in a Scrum team from specification and design through implementation, considering scalability and stability and applying a DevOps you-build-it-you-run-it approach.
- Work extensively with continuous integration and continuous delivery using GitLab, including builds, tests, security scans, deployments, and monitoring.
- Define and implement proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Design and implement customized solutions.
- Continuously develop and scout technologies, methods, and tools, and actively share knowledge.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business departments to find successful solutions.
- Operate and troubleshoot container systems such as Docker.
- Connect cloud environments to enterprise networks.
