  • At least 1 year of technical fluency with artificial intelligence evaluation methodologies, application programming interface architectures, and data schemas in enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise financial workflows, accounting logic, or the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, including audit sampling, procure-to-pay, close management, or reconciliation.
  • A proven track record of prototyping, building evaluation sets, and working side-by-side with engineering teams rather than managing purely through high-level strategy decks.

  • The ability to work in detail with financial transaction data, application programming interface specifications, and evaluation datasets to demonstrate model accuracy and customer return on investment.
  • The ability to turn ad hoc, complex technical processes into repeatable, self-service frameworks that empower other teams to build.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and execute evaluation suites and benchmark metrics to validate agent reasoning, accuracy, and performance across the Financial Audit Agent and Financial Test Suite.
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers and partner ecosystems to conduct deep discovery, run Early Adopter programs, and translate audit and finance requirements into agent capabilities.
  • Define functional requirements for backend application programming interfaces and data services, orchestrating integrations between core financial engines, sub-agents, and the central AI Agent Factory.
  • Rationalize capabilities, data schemas, and workflows across adjacent financial agents to establish unified agentic patterns.
  • Develop standardized design patterns that enable distributed engineering and domain teams to rapidly build and deploy new audit test cases with minimal product management overhead.
  • Serve as the primary Product Manager partner for engineering, user experience, and research teams by unblocking technical edge cases, refining backlog requirements, and ensuring rapid, high-quality feature execution.
  • Synthesize complex agent capabilities, evaluation results, and product progress into narratives for executive leadership, field teams, and customer advisory groups.

Workday's potential $51B Silver Lake deal could create floor for struggling software sector

Dan Niles, founder of Niles Investment Management, said Silver Lake's potential acquisition of Workday could create a floor for the struggling software sector. Reuters reported the talks on Thursday, sending Workday shares up nearly 18% to $206.45, boosting its valuation from $43 billion to around $51.1 billion. Niles noted the deal would rival Silver Lake's record $55 billion Electronic Arts buyout. He said AI-native companies like Anthropic and OpenAI are pressuring the software industry, but the Workday deal could help the sector outperform the S&P 500 through year-end. The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF is down 3% over the past year, whilst the S&P 500 has gained over 20%. Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora responded on X, saying AI poses no existential threat to cybersecurity companies.
