About the job
- A current nursing license valid in the state where the employee works is required.
- The employee must be willing to be available for any or all emergencies regarding the community.
- Complete clinical reports accurately and on time as directed by the Director of Nursing, including infection control and incident and abuse investigations.
- Cover unit shifts as needed and participate in call rotation.
- Administer medications.
- Administer treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, and oxygen.
- Assist with direct resident care as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medications administered and care rendered.
- Assure resident safety at all times.
- Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents' conditions.
