  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving products up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varying nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times, and take required meal and rest breaks.
  • Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Work in and be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.

  • Greet guests warmly through eye contact, smiles, waves, and helpful interactions.
  • Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
  • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
  • Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
  • Deliver the service standard and prioritize the guest service experience.
  • Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events, and demonstrate features and offerings in the Target app, including Wallet.
  • Explain Target loyalty program benefits and assist guests with applications, sign-up, and sign-in as needed.
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
  • Direct guests to enroll in, activate, and use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering features.
  • Attempt every return or exchange, follow register prompts, and partner with immediate leaders as needed while following Target policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
  • Follow ethical conduct, safety, and compliance standards and report or correct hazards where possible.
  • Support Order Pick-Up, Drive Up orders, Drive Up returns, and related compliance duties, including compliance with federal, state, and local alcohol laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
