Requirements
  • A minimum of sixteen years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience developing ServiceNow products.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, the Human Resources module, Customer Service Management, Asset Management, Change Management, and customer development.
  • Significant success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications.
  • Experience with database administration using Oracle or MySQL.
  • Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Aptitude and willingness to work with emerging technologies and tools as opportunities demand.
  • Ability to deliver enhanced functionality, assist with new implementations, and provide continuous support within scheduled time while preserving system integrity.

  • Willingness to work toward achieving the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification while on the task.

Responsibilities
  • Plan system and development deployments and meet software compliance standards.
  • Maintain and add new capabilities to the core ServiceNow platform to enhance functionality for tenants.
  • Develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow updates based on customer requirements.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Configure application user interfaces and workflows.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow system engineers and developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes or requests.
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
  • Ensure appropriate tools and processes support a reliable and reproducible development and production environment.
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing, integration, and production environments.
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end-user support.
  • Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
  • Research, understand, and develop using new technologies and standards as needed.
  • Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
  • Evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
Desired Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
  • IT project management experience and familiarity with Scrum, Lean, Agile, and DevOps.
  • Experience with Java, Ruby, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
  • TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance.
