Requirements
  • A track record of success managing cloud architectures, including Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Significant experience managing a team overseeing production cloud environments, with strong team-building skills.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Hands-on expertise in technology infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and virtualization or containerization technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of architectural principles for cloud-based Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Infrastructure as a Service platforms.
  • Significant experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Demonstrated experience with artificial intelligence technologies, including using AI tools to generate and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and enhance reporting and monitoring capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of common software and application vulnerabilities, with the ability and judgment to make quick decisions to mitigate risk and impact.
  • Expertise automating infrastructure, configuration, and deployments.
  • Significant experience with Application Performance Monitoring platforms such as New Relic or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of a modern programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, C#, Ruby, or PowerShell.
  • Keen interest in DevOps methods and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, Puppet, Chef, or Jenkins.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very strong time-management and analytical skills.
  • A positive, diplomatic, and professional demeanor with high emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities
  • Determine requirements for secure, reliable, cost-effective, and performant cloud environments for CORA Legal Group cloud products.
  • Manage production deployment of CORA Legal Group cloud applications and services.
  • Prioritize tasks and set direction for Cloud Operations team members.
  • Collaborate with research and development management at BEC and RBRO to build monitoring and alerting platforms using mutually determined key performance indicators.
  • Ensure cloud systems are backed up, highly available, documented, and secure.
  • Gather baseline performance information and establish related alerting mechanisms.
  • Establish chains of custody and reporting and handoff procedures for bugs and incidents with research and development management at BEC and RBRO.
  • Work with CORA Legal Group leadership to maintain existing SOC 2 certifications and ensure SOC 2 requirements are continually met.
  • Establish cloud security procedures, perform routine risk assessments, and supervise periodic penetration testing.
  • Proactively create and test remediation plans for anticipated issues.
  • Continuously streamline and strengthen processes and capabilities using appropriate AI tools.
  • Communicate status continually and promptly escalate issues to appropriate team and department leaders.
  • Advocate for Cloud Operations staff by identifying opportunities for future growth and recommending promotions.
  • Build a culture of continuous growth and improvement within the Cloud Operations organization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Significant experience with SOC 2 and similar certifications or regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001 and/or GDPR.
  • Experience with compliance platforms such as Druva, Vanta, or Secureframe.
