Graduate of an accredited dental school with a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Current licensure as a Dentist in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners.
Current Drug Enforcement Administration licensure.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
Provide dental diagnostic and treatment services to patients.
Perform dental examinations and create treatment plans.
Maintain accurate dental patient records in the electronic health record and complete documentation within established timelines and policies and procedures.
Provide dental treatment listed in the treatment plan.
Refer patients to appropriate external or specialty care as needed.
Adhere to established scheduling templates when providing patient care.
Participate in quality metrics directives and departmental quality improvement projects.
Maintain current knowledge of quality initiatives by attending practitioners', clinical site, and practice meetings and reviewing internal communications and resources.
Complete peer review.
Comply with Clinical Quality Measures expectations.
Modify workflows as determined by the department to attain quality improvement objectives.
Document activities related to quality improvement projects.
Participate in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
Obtain and maintain appropriate credentialing to supervise Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents.
Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents as they examine, treatment plan, and treat patients.
Review and co-sign Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents' patient notes in the electronic health record.

Qualifications and Skills
