Certified Nursing Assistant

About the job
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification and First Aid certification.
- Strong understanding of basic patient care, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Knowledge of assisting patients with activities of daily living while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Familiarity with common medical terms.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
- Must be willing to travel to provide service.
- Provide direct support and high-quality direct patient care to adults with developmental disabilities in the community.
- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal hygiene tasks.
- Assist patients with eating and ensure they stay hydrated.
- Help patients move around, including transferring them between chairs and wheelchairs.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the direct supervisor.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of daily activities.
- Ensure healthcare practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for participants.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Experience providing support to adults with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in the community.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to providing high-quality support.
