About the job
- Must possess the documents necessary to work in Italy.
- Knowledge of Italian is indispensable.
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus, including brief experience or experience as an intern or apprentice.
- Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including potentially long shifts and regular coverage of evening events.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must maintain regular attendance according to the schedule, which varies based on the property's operational needs.
- Must follow Aethos standards and regulations to support safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Must maximize productivity efforts, identify problem areas, and contribute to implementing solutions.
- Must maintain a warm and friendly attitude while remaining genuine.
- Prepare ingredients according to the chef's instructions, including washing, cutting, and portioning.
- Support the various kitchen stations with food preparation and cooking.
- Ensure mise-en-place is ready and well maintained before and during service.
- Strictly follow hygiene, food safety, and food storage standards, including HACCP.
- Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and orderly.
- Collaborate with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Contribute to waste control and proper stock management.
- Support kitchen opening and closing routines according to established procedures.
- Knowledge of English is a plus.
