  • The candidate must have 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • The candidate must have strong planning skills and a solid understanding of Patient and Family Centered Care.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • The candidate must hold a current New Jersey Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Certain specialties may require advanced certification such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Responsibilities
  • The role has direct responsibility for the daily operations of assigned departments.
  • The role oversees daily practice operations, recruitment, and retention.
  • The role ensures adherence to policies and procedures and supports ongoing staff education.
  • The role ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • The role is responsible for the fiscal management of the unit or department.
Desired Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of clinical nursing experience is preferred.
  • A Master of Science in Nursing is preferred.
  • National certification within the area of specialty is preferred for critical care, operating room, endoscopy, and trauma.
  • Certification within the specialty area is preferred, including Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse, Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse Operating Room, Certified Emergency Nurse, Progressive Care Certified Nurse, Certified Nurse Manager and Leader, and Nurse Executive-Board Certified.
