Requirements
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required upon hire.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, policy management, and compliance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Defender, is required.
  • Experience administering Okta or a comparable identity provider is required.
  • Solid Azure administration skills, including Entra ID, resource management, and monitoring, are required.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, and FortiClient VPN, is required.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and VPN, is required.
  • Experience administering Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects, LDAP, DNS integration, and user and group management, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including user lifecycle, licensing, and service health.
  • Manage endpoint configuration and compliance policies using Microsoft Intune for mobile device management and mobile application management.
  • Administer Okta for identity and access management, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication policy enforcement.
  • Maintain and optimize Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
  • Support and administer virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.
  • Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
  • Manage Active Directory, including group policies, organizational unit structure, user and computer accounts, and trust relationships.
  • Write and maintain PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Document systems, procedures, and configurations, and maintain current runbooks.
  • Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with public key infrastructure and certificate lifecycle management through an internal certificate authority or third-party providers.
  • Domain management experience, including DNS registrar administration, zone management, and domain transfers.
  • Familiarity with IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, Okta Certified Administrator, NSE 4+, MCSA, or MCSE.
