About the company

Noïa Labs builds non-invasive brain-computer interfaces that translate real-time brain signals into human intent to control and collaborate with AI systems without surgery. Its product uses optimized neural sensors paired with large-scale machine-learning models trained on data from many users to decode intent from brain activity in real time. Compared with competitors, Noïa Labs combines non-invasive hardware with scalable, multi-user AI models and is led by Sid Kouider, a researcher known for NextMind, aiming to bring practical brain-AI interfaces to everyday use. The company’s goal is to enable seamless, safe, and real-time human-AI interaction through non-surgical neural interfaces and advancing collaborative AI capabilities.

What believers are saying

  • Hiring a senior BCI Scientist in June 2026 shows active technical buildout.
  • Sid Kouider's Snap and NextMind pedigree attracts engineers, investors, and strategic acquirers.
  • Non-medical brain-signal data collection avoids device-regulatory drag and speeds commercial iteration.

What critics are saying

  • No public product launch exists; stealth lasts through September 2026, delaying proof.
  • 500 euro capital and pre-seed funding from Kima, Drysdale, and angels constrain hardware runway.
  • Human-intent decoding from EEG faces weak signal quality; a failed demo kills the company.

What makes Noïa Labs unique

  • Sid Kouider built NextMind and led neural interfaces at Snap through December 2024.
  • Noïa Labs targets non-invasive intent decoding, not surgery, with real-time AI collaboration.
  • Paris incorporation on April 3, 2026 anchors a focused neurotech team near prior talent.
